In the summer semester 2018 we have again been given a teaching position at the University of Applied Sciences Landshut. This is the fourth anniversary of our cooperation with the Chair of Business Administration.
Market entry study for an emerging market
As in the las few years, the students of the “International Business” course of study are preparing a market entry study for a country of the MSCI — World — Index. As in previous years, students select a product and a company and then apply the tools of modern business management to create a strategy for future market entry.
Your analysis, consisting of standards such as Porter’s 5 — Forces, a TOWS matrix and sourcing strategies is supported by intercultural elements. Hofstede and the Cultural — Distance — Index are well known in this context.
The students prepare their analysis in the form of a presentation, the aim of which is to give a recommendation about the selected country and the appropriate strategy. They will present these to their fellow students in English on 30. June 2018 and on 07. July 2018
Professional guidance and support
In the person of our Director Mr. Jens Dröge, we are available to the students in this creation and analysis process for professional advice and also give tips on content design, among other things. He not only concentrates on the correct transfer of content from textbooks and literature, but also gives practical advice on format and presentation.
We look forward to this exciting job and to further intensifying our cooperation with Landshut University of Applied Sciences. We are pleased that we can support the academic future with words and deeds and pass on our expertise and hope to accompany the students for the fifth time in the summer semester 2019.
