24 enthusiasts experience a touch and feel of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and learn the basics of the method.
Spacebase and the Steinbeis Intercultural Academy Consulting Center are organizing an information evening for LEGO® enthusiasts.
Exercise, experience and a lot of fun were in the foreground, when we from the Steinbeis Consulting Center Intercultural Academy were allowed to show 24 interested people the basics of the method.
Spacebase offers creative and extraordinary rooms for meetings and workshops on its website. Our event took place in an extraordinary creative space in Stuttgart city center. But somewhat cramped in a very relaxed atmosphere, 24 people from different industries, companies and different ages worked on your idea of the best colleague.
This shows once again that the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method is ideal for bringing people from different cultures, hierarchies and backgrounds together and speaking the same language. The many smiling faces and the great conversations followed by finger food showed that the fun was not neglected.
The participants learned how LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® can be used as a creative method for managers, teams and also in coaching as a perfect tool. By supporting visual, auditory and kinesthetic skills, and building with LEGO® requires listening, learning and exchange.
With much fun with the “serious” play with the colorful stones and under astonishing views the participants could experience with their hands that the answer to the question after the ideal colleague
- dormant in them, they just must express it creatively
- cannot be answered correctly or incorrectly
- is only created by communicating and listening to all participants
We enjoyed the evening very much. It was nice to see everyone slowly but surely entering the “flow”. The fact that the participants enjoyed it so much was evident not only from the extremely positive feedback, but also from the fact that many participants subsequently photographed their models and disassembled them only with a heavy heart.
We are looking forward to many more evenings together with the team of Spacebase.
